## Summary

Bleet, the dating app from workplace community Blind, found six photos drew about 7x the interest of one, and large Samsung and SK hynix bonuses made no significant difference.

## Key takeaways

- Bleet, Blind's dating app, analyzed about 300,000 Korean office workers' activity from January to September.
- Six photos drew about 7x the interest of one; long bios about 6x; big chip bonuses made no significant difference.
- Requests sent after viewing a user's posts were accepted at more than 3x the rate of standard requests.

Bleet, a dating app run by Blind, the workplace community app that verifies users' employers, released data on how about 300,000 Korean office workers used the service from January to September, Korea JoongAng Daily reported on October 26.

Among male Samsung Electronics employees, those with six profile photos drew about seven times as much interest per user as those with one, and those who wrote self-introductions of 200 or more Korean characters drew about six times as much as those who left it blank. Completing the app's values questionnaire roughly doubled interest. Large chip bonuses paid early this year by Samsung Electronics and SK hynix produced no statistically significant change in popularity.

Women spent more than twice as long as men viewing profiles but sent about a third as many match requests. Women accepted about 67% of the requests they received, compared with about 50% for men. Requests sent after viewing a user's community posts or stories were accepted at more than three times the rate of requests sent from a standard profile. Accepted requests peaked on Sundays, at 1.2 times the weekly average, and in the 10 pm hour, at twice the average.

"Looks and financial standing are the main criteria people use when looking for a partner," said Kang Gu-min, a Bleet team lead.

Why it matters: The data backs what many operators see: profile completeness and context drive more interest than a single status signal, even a verified employer. The finding that requests made after viewing someone's posts are accepted at three times the rate makes a case for adding lightweight social content to dating profiles. Prompting users to add photos, a real bio and values answers is cheap, and it measurably moves outcomes.
